CRIMINAL DEFENSE

MISDEMEANORS

Sometimes good people can be accused of small punishment crimes. Misdemeanor charges can either be Class A, B, or C (i.e. traffic violations). The range of punishment can either be jail time up to one (1) year or a fine or both. We take pride in helping you in any pretrial phase and fight for you aggressively during trial. Alternatively, we can also clearly explaining your side of the story to the prosecutors in efforts to gain a fair plea bargain.

FELONY

Sometimes good people can be accused of large punishment crimes. Felony charges can either be Capital, 1st Degree, 2nd Degree, 3rd Degree, or State Jail. The range of punishment can either be death, life without parole, a fine, or decades in prison. There are times when punishment can be enhanced based on your criminal history. Let us help you in this time of need to get your life to the best position.

suppression of evidence

The government’s evidence to be used against you must have been obtained rightfully by and through the United States and Texas Constitutions. If the government has violated any of your rights, we can help you in stopping them from prosecuting you with that evidence. These can include YOUR statements, other witness statements, evidence seized (drugs/crime scene evidence), etc.

bail reduction

Sometimes the bail is set so high that a defendant cannot get out of jail during the pendency of his case. This can result in disruption of the defendant’s job, family, and legal preparation. We can help with reducing your bail so that we may focus on your defense and helping you get back with your family.

expungement/non-disclosure

If you have a criminal case disposed or not prosecuted, the information of that case may still be on your criminal record. This can sometimes get in the way of you moving forward in life (i.e. getting a license, applying to certain schools, or social stigma). We can help in expunging your case so that it is not disclosed publicly.

Federal Crimes

Prosecution can happen when the United States or Texas or both brings criminal charges against you. For Federal Crimes, the United States Government is charging you for allegedly violating a federal criminal law. If you are or have been investigated by the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) or Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI), then most likely you will be charged with a federal crime. Examples of federal crimes are: damaging public mailboxes, bank robbery, counterfeiting, federal hate crimes, etc. Let us help you be placed in the best position available to defend against the United States Government.
